McCollum Hearing Center is taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and we are closely monitoring and following all recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as all local and federal authorities. The health and safety of our employees and patients is our top priority.
We are adhering to all regulations within CDC guidelines for our center in order to safeguard the health of our patients. We have implemented the following:
*Increased proper cleaning and sanitization on all common surfaces between each patient appointment throughout the day.
*Increased downtime between appointments to reduce waiting room capacity and patient to patient contact.
*Limited support person with patient to 1 additional person.
*Required call ahead appointment times to be scheduled instead of walking in to be seen.
*Utilized screening questions to make sure you have not had a couch, fever, or traveled out of the area in the last 14 days before your appointment can be scheduled. If you have experienced any of these symptoms, we ask that you wait 14 days to schedule your appointment.
*Any staff member that is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms has been instructed to stay home as to reduce the spread of the virus.
