Linda McCollum has been in the hearing care profession since 1997. She received her degree from Montgomery College, Rockville, Maryland in 1975. She has seen the beginning of digital hearing aids which today have become a technological innovation for improved and comfortable hearing. In 2004, she received her board certification license to dispense hearing aids from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, State of Maryland. She is Board Certified by the National Board of Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. The Maryland State Board also requires Linda to acquire 30 plus hours of continuing education to re-instate her license every 2 years. In 2005, she received her certification for a Patient Centered Approach, meaning she has been trained for an accurate protocol to follow when she evaluates the patient’s hearing needs. She has received several certifications from Siemens, Phonak and Resound hearing aid manufacturers as well as a member of the International Hearing Society. Linda continues to keep abreast with all the hearing aid manufacturers that we work with through their continued education courses and mandatory seminars to know their products thoroughly so that she can find the best possible solution to your hearing needs. Her ongoing knowledge and expertise has given her the special edge to be a hearing care provider like no other!
Tara Bockstanz, Director of Operations, earned her bachelor’s degree, from Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, WV in 2003 and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Management. In addition, she has over ten years of retail management experience in which she received several awards for outstanding customer service. With her background in retail sales, Tara has been a great asset to our marketing development and company branding. Tara has been in the hearing industry since 2010 and has grown to know the field of hearing and is dedicated to learn and advance in the hearing care profession.
Megan joined our team in 2014 as our Patient Care Coordinator and has received her training from the American Hearing Aid Associates. Megan is the first point of contact for our patients. She has brought with her the knowledge of customer satisfaction by building relationships for a long-term basis. She understands that when you enter our office it is not an easy task to decide how you will address your hearing needs and therefore, strives to make your visit as stress-free as possible.
